Mission Statement

Frontline Bible Institute was established for the purpose of training men who are called of God to the ministry.

Our goal is to train men to be preachers - preachers who can cry aloud, lift up their voices like a trumpet and declare God’s Word (Is. 58:1). The saints and the world need to hear God’s Word and His Word is manifested through preaching (Titus 1:3).

Our goal is to fully equip men in the Scriptures so they can be teachers (II Tim. 2:2) - men who know the Book, can rightly divide the Word (II Tim. 2:15), and effectively communicate it to bless the saints (Eph. 4:11-13).

Our goal is to train men and women in the Scriptures so that they might better serve the Lord in and through the local church.

Our goal is to help any Christian who desires a better understanding of the Bible for their own benefit and blessing.

The classes at Frontline Bible Institute are taught through the ministry of Landmark Baptist Church in Stamford, Connecticut.

The classes taught have been recorded and are available on CD or cassette tape for people who, for whatever reason, would like to study through the correspondence program. This would enable some to study and prepare for the ministry while remaining in their local church under the guidance and leadership of their pastor. There they can serve and help build the work of the Lord. If Frontline Bible Institute sounds like something that you are interested in, we will do all we can to help you become the preacher, teacher or servant of the Lord that God would have you to be.

Rules and Regulations

The Bible says in James 1:22, "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." The purpose of Frontline Bible Institute is to train men and women for the work of the ministry; to give the Christian a better understanding of God's Word. It is important that which is taught be put into practice. Learning and knowing is only one half of the equation; obedience to that which is learned and taught makes the equation complete. Therefore, we believe it necessary to require that the students of Frontline Bible Institute practice what they are taught.

In regard to biblical separation, all students should refrain from:

  • Drinking alcoholic beverages
  • Use of tobacco or drugs of any kind
  • Participating in worldly entertainment (i.e., attending movies theaters, dancing, gambling, etc.)
  • We also believe students should be members of a local independent, Bible-believing church and be busy bringing the gospel to a lost and dying world.

Classroom Students

Dress Code

Classroom students are required to conform to the dress code standards as listed below:

MEN - Shirts with a collar are required. No T-shirts or blue jeans allowed. Hair should be neatly trimmed off the ears and collar.
LADIES - Modest clothing, with skirts and dresses below the knee should be worn. Dresses and skirts should not have slits above the knee. No sheer, tight fitting or low-cut tops or dresses are allowed. Pants are not to be worn.

Attendance

Courses typically consist of 14-15 classes each. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes and to be on time. The total number of absences allowed per semester is two. Each absence without permission beyond the allotted number will result in the lowering of the student's final grade by one full letter.

Financial Information

Students are expected to exemplify good Christian character and pay their tuition bill at the beginning of each semester. No exams will be issued to any student whose account is not current.

Correspondent Students

All correspondent students are placed on the honor system while taking courses. Once the completed application is received with all necessary items, your course(s) will be mailed to you. The correspondent student works at their own pace completing their classes according to their own schedule and timing.

All Students

Failure to comply with any of the requirements listed above may result in expulsion from classes, loss of monies paid and receiving a failing grade for the semester. A signed application for each student agreeing to these requirements will be kept on file in the Institute's office.
